John Crotty, OD
Dr. Crotty graduated from Auburn High School in 1970. He went on to the University of Nebraska Lincoln for 2 years of undergraduate study. He then continued his studies at Pacific University, Forest Grove, OR where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 1974 and his Doctorate in Optometry in 1976. Upon graduation he returned to Auburn and joined in practice with his father, Dr. Patrick H. Crotty, OD.

Dr. Crotty and his wife, Debi, have been married since 1974. Together they have raised 4 children: Ryan, Robin, Rick and Rusty. Ryan lives on the East Coast, is married to Janny and together they have 2 children: a daughter, Liston and son, Nash. Ryan is pursuing his graduate studies in Art. Robin lives on the East Coast where she works in the Ophthalmology field. Rick lives in Nebraska, is married to Linesey and works in the Optometric field. Rusty lives in Oklahoma and is pursuing a degree in Optometry at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.

Dr. Crotty has been involved in many Optometric and Community organizations. His Optometric involvements include: Member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Nebraska Optometric Association (NOA) since 1972 and the Advisory Board President for Omaha Eye & Laser Institute since 1998. Dr. Crotty has held numerous Committee Chairs with the NOA and was the Pesident in 1992. In 1992, Dr. Crotty received the Nebraska Optometrist of the Year Award and in 2006 he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Nebraska Optometric Association. Dr. Crotty's Community involvements include: Auburn School Board for 12 years, Board of Directors for Southeast Nebraska Center for Pregnancy Counseling since 1990, Catholic Social Services Board of Advisors since 1998, Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lincoln Advisory Board since 2006, St. Joseph Catholic Church Trustee since 1984, Knights of Columbus Member since 1977.

Dr. Crotty's interests are playing golf, basketball and the guitar. He and Debi enjoy participating in VOSH, Voluntary Optometric Servcies to Humanity missions. Those missions have taken them to Mexico, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. They also love camping, hiking and biking. They firmly believe God is good all the time and Holy is His Name.

Dr. Crotty's goals for the future include: To fight the good fight, finish the race and most of all to leave Auburn and the surrounding communities with a strong, value-based Optometric practice built on the foundation provided by his Father, Dr. Patrick H. Crotty, so that our community is able to maintain "Lifetime Vision" into the foreseeable future.

Darren Wright, OD
Dr. Wright grew up in Millard, NE and graduated from Millard South High School in 1987. He attained a Bachelors degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1991 and his Doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry in 1995. Dr. Wright and Jodi moved to Auburn that year and Dr. Wright joined Dr. John Crotty in practice as Dr. Pat Crotty retired. In addition to his primary practice in Auburn, Dr. Wright is also the Optometric Consultant to the Nebraska Center for Children Who are Blind or Visually Impaired and the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution.

Dr. Wright and his wife, Jodi, met in college and have been married since 1993. Together, they have been blessed with 3 children: Megan, Nathan and Brandon. The family enjoys camping, hiking, biking, snow skiing, Husker football, hanging out in the backyard and playing games. Dr. Wright can also be seen jogging late at night or tooling around town in his 1991 Miata or his 1964 Corvette Convertible.

Dr. Wright enjoys the diversity that practicing in a small town allows. "In an area like ours, you can be looking in an infants eyes one minute, removing a piece of steel from someone's cornea the next minute and following up on an 80-year-old's cataract surgery shortly after that", says Dr. Wright. "There's really no limit on the types of cases you see while taking care of the great people of our area." Dr. Wright reports he especially enjoys working with children, the elderly, challenging contact lens cases and surgical patients.

Dr. Wright is involved in many community and optometric organizations and has been the president of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and the Auburn Rotary Club. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association and Nebraska Optometric Association since 1991 and was named the Nebraska Optometric Association's Young Optometrist of the Year in 2004. Dr. Wright is currently serving on several boards and committees including the Auburn Memorial Library Foundation Board, Southeast Nebraska Head Start Health Advisory Committee and is the corporate Sponsorship Chariman for the Nemaha County Relay for Life. He also annually donates eye care to Special Olympics Athletes at the Nebraska State Games.

Kathryn Keithley, CPOA, VSBA, Administrative Coordinator

Kathryn joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in August 1997. She started out as a Pre-Tester/Optical Specialist, moved on to be the Optical Team Leader and then worked her way up to where she is now as our Administrative Coordinator. She is married to Rodney and together they have five children: Alicia and Fiance Brennon Sr., Kaeleb and wife Cazzi, Luke, Tiffany, Evan and fiance Megan. They are also blessed with 13 grandchildren: Tre, Brennon Jr., Alivia, Kegan, Chloe, Chris, DJ, DaShaun, Kaleigh, Nakyah, Kinley, Roman and Izabella.

Kathryn is a 1981 graduate of Circle High School, Towanda, KS. She has earned her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and a Vision Source Business Associate. Kathryn is involved in many community and professional affilations. She is the Event Accountant for Nemaha County Relay for Life and a member of Auburn Community Builders. She is also the Editor of the NOA Para Quarterly, Treasurer for the NOA Para Section and a Eastern NE VSR Facilitator.

Her interests are her grandchildren, reading, camping and fishing. Kathryn has a dog named Coco.

Lisa Kirby, CPOA, VSBA, Human Resources Coordinator

Lisa joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in April 2004. She started out as a Pre-Tester, moved on to Contact Lens Specialist, Front Desk Specialist to where she is now as our Human Resources Coordinator. She is married to Kris and together they have two children, Alexis and Nathan.

Lisa is a 1979 graduate of Auburn High School, Auburn, NE. She went on to graduate from University of Nebraska Omaha with a BA in Business Administration/ Accounting Minor MIS. She went on to earn her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and Vision Source Business Associate.

Lisa is actively involved with her church where she uses her talents to help with Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She is also a volunteer for 4-H. Her interests are her family, her children's activities, cooking and reading. Lisa has 2 dogs, Henri and Jack, and a cat named Felix.

Lois Williams, CPOA, VSBA, Insurance Coordinator

Lois joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in 1988. She started out as a Pre-Tester and Optical Specialist, moved up to Front Desk Specialist and then on to where she is today as our Insurance coordinator. She has two children, Brandy and Lee.

Lois is a 1964 graduate of Falls City High School, Falls City, NE. She went on to earn her optical certifications of Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and Vision Source Business Associate.

Her interests are gardening,working and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her dog Miss Ellie.

Kent Crotty, Optician

Kent joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in April 1987 and has been our Optician ever since. Kent is married to Tanya and together they have three children: Nate and wife Chaz, Brett and fiance Emily and Tess. They have been blessed with four grandchildren: Abigail, Joel, Sophie and Olivia and are expecting their fifth next spring.

Kent is a 1977 graduate of Auburn High School, Auburn, NE. He went on to serve in the United States Coast Guard for four years.

His interests are his grandchildren, weighlifting and riding his motorcycle. Kent is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Debi Crotty, Financial Coordinator

Debi joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in January 1997 as our Financial Coordinator. Debi is married to Dr. John Crotty and together they have four children: Ryan and wife Janny, Robin, Rick and wife Linesey and Rusty. They are also blessed to have 2 grandchildren, granddaughter Liston and grandson Nash.

Debi is a 1970 graduate of Burwell High School, Burwell, NE. She went on to graduate for the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology.

Debi's interests are spending time with her family, traveling, camping, hiking, gardening, reading and baking. She actively volunteers with Southeast Nebraska Center for Pregnancy Counseling for the hotline and as a counselor, St. Francis Gift & Thrift Shop, Matt Talbot Food Kitchen, Meals on Wheels and many Pro-Life activities. She is a volunteer and board member of SKY Catholic Youth Camp and a board member at UNL Catholic Sorority.

Devon Volkman, CPO, Optical Team Coordinator

Devon joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in July 2003. She started out as a Pre-Tester, moved on to the Optical Lab and became the Optical Team Coordinator. She is married to Dennis and together they have two children, Cailyn and Brenden.

Devon is a 1976 graduate of Johnson-Brock High School, Johnson, NE. She has gone on to earn her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric.

Her interests are her children's activities, movies and dining out.

Brandy Van Der Kamp, CPOA, VSBA, Front Desk Team Coordinator & Billing Specialist

Brandy joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in August 2004. She started out as a Pre-Tester, moved on to Front Desk Specialist, then became the Front Desk Team Coordinator and acquired the duties of Billing Specialist. She is married to Steve and together they have two children, Kobe and Abigail.

Brandy is a 1999 graduate of Auburn High School, Auburn, NE. She went on to graduate from Peru State College in 2003 with a degree in Business Management. She went on to earn her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and Vision Source Business Associate.

Brandy is a member of the Eastern Star and actively involved with her church. Her interests are her children, reading and movies.

Debbie Meyer, CPO, VSBA, Call Center Specialist

Debbie joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in January 2005 as our Call Center Specialist and greets you with her sweet voice. She is married to Richard and together they have two children, Julie and Brian and his wife Ashley. They also blessed with 2 grandchildren, granddaughter, Stephanie and grandson, Logan.

She is a 1975 graduate of Hiawatha High School, Hiawatha, KS. She has gone on to earn her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric and Vision Source Business Associate.

Debbie is a member of the American Legion Auxillary and active in her church where she happily donates her talents to the Women's Group and Spirit Wave Music Ministry. Her interests are her family, music crocheting and reading. She has two cats, Maddie and Muffy.

Missy Grooms, CPOA, VSBA, Clinic Team Coordinator, Contact Lens Specialist & Marketing Coordinator.

Missy joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in August 2006. She started out as a Pre-Tester, moved on to Optical Specialist and acquired the duties of Marketing Coordinator, then moved on to become Clinic Team Coordinator and Contact Lens Specialist. She is married to Scott and together they have four children: Trent, Ryan, Charlotte and Taylor.

Missy is a 1986 graduate of Lawton High School, Lawton, MI. She went on to earn her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and Vision Source Business Associate.

Missy is a member of the NOA Para Education Committee. Her interests are her family, gardening, going to concerts, horseback riding, reading and crafting. She has a dog named Gadget.

Capri Kiekel, CPO, Frame & Optical Specialist

Capri joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in September 2007. She started out as a Front Desk Specialist, moved on to Pre-Tester, then joined the Optical Team as Frame & Optical Specialist and acquired the duties of maintaining our Frame Room. Capri is married to Dustin and together they have two daughters, Bethany and Molly.

Capri is a 1993 graduate of Sante Fe Trail High School, Carbondale, KS. She went onto graduate in 1997 from Manhattan Technical College with a degree in Accounting. She also studied for two years at Kansas State University. Capri went on to earn her optical certification of Certified Paraoptometric.

Capri's interest are her children's activities, camping, skiing and volunteering for Girl Scouts. She has two cats, Sophie and Sam.

Stormy Hitchcock, Clinical & Low Vision Specialist

Stormy joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in May 2008 as one of our Pre-Testers and part of the Clinical Team. She is engaged to Kim and together they have six children: Mike, Mitch, Larissa, Brandon, Shelby and Levi. The have been blessed with five grandchildren: Alexis, Allie, Avery, Bailey and Braxton.

Stormy is a 1980 graduate from Southeast Consolidated, Stella, NE. She went on to become a Licensed CNA and is currentlfy working on her optical certification.

Stormy is a member of the Verdon Community Workers, Verdon Cemetary Board, Verdon Library Board and enjoys volunteering with the Blood Bank, Youth Group and Bible School. Her interests are spending time with her family, photography, landscaping, reading and anything to do with the outdoors. She has a cat named Diddly.

Valerie Harrington, Front Desk & Optical Specialist

Valerie joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in October 2008. She is a Front Desk and Optical Specialist. She is married to Walter and together they have two children, Jessica and Blake and two grandchildren, Sullivan "Liv" and Emmett.

Valerie is a 1983 graduate from Turlock High School, Turlock, CA. She is currently working on her optical certification.

Her interests are reading, writing, traveling, crochet, embroidery and people. She has 2 dogs, Friskey and Riley, a Bolivian Scarlet Macaw, Romeo and two cats, Tigerrette and Domonic.

Tommy Parrish, Summer Intern

Tommy joined the Lifetime Vision Center team in May 2009. Tommy is learning the in's and out's of the entire office.

Tommy is a 2007 graduate of Auburn High School, Auburn, NE. He is currently a Senior at Nebraska Weslyan University with plans to go onto Optometry School.

Tommy volunteers with many of his fraternity philanthropies and Lend a Hand to Lincoln. His interests are Golf, holding leadership positions on campus and in his fraternity, water and snow skiing, hunting, fishing, camping, watching movies and hanging out with family and friends. He has two dogs, Macie and Chloe.

Amanda Beard, Clinical & Optomap Specialist

Amanda joined our Lifetime Vision Center team in June 2009 as one of our Pre-Testers and part of the Clinic Team. Amanda is married to Matt and together they have a son Ryan and are expecting their second child this fall.

Amanda is a 1999 graduate of Exeter Public School, Exeter, NE. She went on to graduate from SCC in 2002 with a Associates of Applied Sciences in Radiologic Technology.

Amanda's interest are spending time with family, cooking and taking pictures. She has a dog named Bandit.

Lisa Roggenkamp, Frame & Optical Specialist

Lisa joined our Lifetime Vision Center team in September 2009 as one of our Frame & Optical Specialists and part of the Optical Team. Lisa is married to Kyle and together they are anticipating the birth of their first child this fall.

Lisa is a 2003 graduate of Brainerd Senior High School in Brainerd, MN. She went on to graduate from Central Lakes College in Brainerd, MN in 2006.

Lisa's was involved in putting on the Lakes Music Bluegrass Festival in Central Minnesota. Lisa's interests are making jewelery, crafts, baking, shopping, movies and spending time with family and friends. She has a cat named Kitten.

Becky Stanley, Clinical Specialist

Becky joined our Lifetime Vision Center team in October 2009 as one of our Pre-Testers and part of the Clinic Team. She is married to Adam.

Becky is a 2004 graduate from Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer High School. She attended SCC in Lincoln for a year.

Becky's loves to be outside. Her interests are gardening, yard work and flowers. She also loves to cook/bake and entertain her friends and family. She has a dog named Beefy.
